What is the ARMADAV?
Description
The Project ARMADAV stands for Autonomous Radiation Monitoring and Data-logging Aquatic Vehicle. Its main objective is to record radioactivity data in the oceans. The ARMADAV consists of several components such as the bGeigie Nano, ATX2 Arduino microcontroller, navigation and propulsion systems, in a watertight trimaran drone design. The device is unmanned and does not necessarily require a human controller thus limits the need for manpower in a highly specialized field of nuclear science and environment monitoring.
